Hello! I'm Camille. I am so happy to be part of the team providing care to the wonderful families at The Birth Center. After years of working the veterinary field, the birth of my first child ignited a new-found passion for birth and I decided to make a change. In the years following the birth of my first and second child, I was blessed with the opportunity to attend a vast variety of births as birth photographer/doula. One thing that stuck out to me at homebirths, hospital births and birth center births, was the importance of high quality care and support and monumental difference that it can make in a birth. It is a wonderful thing knowing that The Birth Center can be part of that difference. With the support for my family, I began training as a Midwife Assistant in early 2017. Later that year, I began ICEA Doula training and Biomechanical Childbirth Educator training. In my spare time, you'll find me and my husband chasing our littles or our animals in the Coloma/Lotus Valley, volunteering in the agricultural and birth communities or with my nose in a book trying to feed my constant hunger to learn.
